Set amidst lush hills in the UÄŤka Nature Park, at 388 metres above sea level, Hotel Draga di Lovrana boasts breathtaking views of the popular Medveja Beach and the islands of Krk and Cres. Its classy restaurant serves fresh seafood and Istrian cuisine.
Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere.
The air-conditioned rooms are elegantly furnished and have free access to wired internet. Each of them has a flat-screen satellite TV, a seating area and a contemporary bathroom. Bathrobes, slippers and toiletries are provided.
